Bloom recruits, supports, and trains foster families who give displaced children hope and a home life for the next phase of their lives. Bloom is a private, non-profit foster care organization located in Fayetteville, GA.

CAFO unites more than 200 respected organizations and over 850 churches in sharing initiatives that inspire and equip Christians for effective orphan care, family preservation, adoption and foster care. They work globally with vulnerable children.

As a member of this organization
Dr. Andrews conducted a research project interviewing  approximately
30 CAFO member organizations.

Located in Tucker Georgia, Childkind's mission is to empower families caring for children involved with the child welfare system, specializing in those with special health care and developmental needs. Whether it be a child with a complex medical or developmental diagnosis, a child with maladaptive behaviors, a teenager, or a sibling group, we work hard to make it possible for parents to be successful caregivers and for their families to be sustainable.

Dr. Andrews has had the privilege speaking at this organization's National Adoption Conference in 2019..

Adoptive and Foster Parents Association of Georgia encourages the formation and continued development of local adoptive and foster parent associations with Sub-Regional Vice Presidents who are local area representatives committed to giving the personal attention necessary for each area’s continuing growth. 

Dr. Andrews has provided training for members of this organization both on a local level and  at their annual Members' Conferenc.

Christian City is a not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) organization that provides vibrant living, life-changing hope and a community of loving friends through seven vital program including the  the following:

 

The Children’s Village: Residential Program for youth who are victims of abuse, abandonment or neglect. 

The Crossroads Foster Care & Adoption Program  Equips wonderful families to parent children in need

of a loving home.

Dr. Andrews provides ongoing training for house parents and foster parents of this organization.

WMVW 91.7 FM. / Life Radio Ministries is dedicated to presenting quality Christian programming and music to a hurting world by sharing the Light and Life of the Gospel
of Jesus Christ. Since its founding in 1993 New Life Radio Ministries has expanded to partnering with additional outreach organizations in helping provide leadership, consultation, and "hands-on" assistance to missionary
radio stations and networks across the globe. 

Dr. Andrews is a periodic guest with host Mike Shelley on New Life Radio's "New Morning Praise" program, sharing information about adoption and foster care- related topics.

Since 1970, Christian Encounter Ranch (CER) has existed as a biblically-based church with an integrated co-ed residential youth program.   CER is located on 86 peaceful acres in the beautiful foothills of the Sierra-Nevada Mountains of Northern California.  With a low staff-to-student ratio, Christian Encounter Ranch features counseling and wilderness programs along with a private high school.  CER provides an ideal setting for spiritual, intellectual and personal growth.

Dr. Andrews served  on staff from 2008 -16 providing mentoring and  counseling to many adopted and former foster care youth.

Chick-fil-A's philosophy  is “To glorify God by being a faithful steward of all that is entrusted to us and to have a positive influence on all who come into contact with Chick-fil-A.” Chick-fil-A's philosophy of community and helping others is evident in the many scholarships, programs and initiatives they have established for their employees, customers and surrounding communities. They continue to support the needs of all families to include foster and adoptive family units. To date, Chick-fil-A has donated more than 10 million meals to serve those in need.

 

Dr. Andrews leads a monthly adoptive parent support group for parents who work at the company's headquarters (Support Center) in Atlanta, GA.

The Georgia Division of Family & Children Services (DFCS) investigates reports of child abuse; finds foster and adoptive homes for abused and neglected children; issues SNAP, Medicaid, and TANF; helps out-of-work parents get back on their feet, and provides numerous support services and innovative programs to help families in need.

Dr. Andrews provides foster and adoptive parent training for parents in Georgia Region 4

Together Georgia ensures that member organizations are equipped to serve those that their missions are tied to through distributing emerging data as well as by collaborating with key government figures and pertinent decision makers.  They are a policy-making organization for Georgia’s child and family welfare through Advocacy, Collaboration, Networking, and Communication.  

Dr. Andrews has provided training for members of this organization during their annual Georgia Conference on Children and Families.

Adoption.com is the world’ s largest online adoption community as well as the world's    largest adoption reunion registry.   Since 1997 Adoption.com has brought the joy of adoption to thousands of successful adoptive families, and reunited thousands of  adoptees and birth parents.
